The main aim of the organization is to work towards holistic development for all the community members in Tamil Nadu through community meetings, empowerment initiatives and proactive measures.

Center for Health and Gender Equality (CHANGE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering holistic development in Tamil Nadu. Situated in the blocks of Tirupattur and Kandili within Tirupattur District, our mission revolves around addressing critical societal challenges. At CHANGE, we are committed to tackle pressing issues such as child marriage, recognizing its correlation with poverty and the increased vulnerability it imposes on young girls. Early marriages often lead to social isolation, limited educational and employment opportunities, and pose significant health risks, including early pregnancies and related complications. For instance, in Tirupathur District, young girls from Kurumbar and Scheduled Caste communities are particularly affected. Our organization also focuses on addressing health and hygiene disparities prevalent among women and children in lower socioeconomic communities. The lack of proper sanitation and awareness compounds these challenges. Through proactive measures such as community meetings and personalized education initiatives, CHANGE strives to uplift these communities.
